La tormenta tropical Matthew se convirtió en huracán este jueves a su paso por el Caribe, informó el Centro Nacional de Huracanes de Estados Unidos (NHC) en su último boletín emitido a las 5.00 pm de este jueves. Matthew se está moviendo hacia el oeste a cerca de 17 mph (28 km/h). Se espera un movimiento general hacia el oeste a oeste suroeste con alguna reduccion en la velocidad de traslacion durante los proximos días.  Matthew podría virar el fin de semana hacia el norte , desde la península de la Guajira -en la frontera colombo-venezolana- hacia el este de Cuba , según muestran las proyecciones del NHC.  Condiciones de tormenta tropical son posibles en Bonaire, Curacao, y Aruba, esta noche y viernes. Se esperan marejadas generadas por Matthew que afecten porciones de las costas de Puerto Rico, Republica Dominicana, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Venezuela, y Colombia durante los proximos dias.
